Part Mermaid. Part Swim Coach.
I’ve been in the water for as long as I can remember…
I’ve basically been in the water my entire life—starting at a country club and then falling in love with the sport through club swimming in Pasadena.
Fun fact: when I was 11, my relay held the #1 spot in the nation for three months (I still count it).
I went on to swim Division I at Siena College, where I was team captain—but somewhere along the way, I realized I loved coaching just as much as competing.
During college, I coached a local team in Albany and worked one-on-one with a dean who had been recently paralyzed, helping him learn to swim again after his accident—an experience that completely shaped how I teach.
Since then, I’ve coached in Knoxville with everyone from kids to Masters swimmers and triathletes working on stroke technique.
Now, I work with all levels—from babies learning survival skills to adults looking to move through the water more efficiently (and confidently).
